The following is a list of some of the books I’ve read over the past few years, and some thoughts on them.
- Plan B by Anne Lamott. My review in the Resonate Journal.
- Shake Hands with the Devil by Gen Romeo Dellaire
- The Second Time Around by Mary Higgins Clark
- Joe Jones by Anne Lamott
- The Church in an Emerging Culture edited by Leonard Sweet.
- Nickel and Dimed by Barbara Ehrenreich :: Makes me both appreciate working with Safeway and a little sad that the good paying jobs are now gone for other people.
- To Own a Dragon by Donald Miller :: Helped me understand what Jordon went through growing up.
- The Last Spike: The Great Railway, 1881-1885 by Pierre Burton :: A fun book about how the Canadian west was won.
2007
The plan is to read 24 good books in 2007. I’ll post my list here as it happens.
