Oh, I know what the JUNK drawer dilemna is about. I have tackled and won the JUNK “GARAGE” this week. We are speaking terms now as everything is labelled and boxed appropiately with Garage Sale in the future planned.

Danny Orlis ! During my senior year, my roommate Mark(who later led me to Christ) had a bunch of boxes of books. His dad had just “half retired”, and moved out of their good-sized suburban home, to a cozy double-wide near a lake. His mom packed up all his books and he took them back to college, to our roomy apartment.

One box was full of Danny Orlis adventures. I think he had every one - the box was quite full. Good reading for kids.

The emerging church can learn a lot from the world of helicopters. Prior to Larry Bell (Bell Helicopters), aerial assault was largely done by glider. Larry Bell changed warfare.

He did it by parties. Larry Bell’s parties in Washington, DC, were legendary. Although they happened in the forties and fifties, I still heard aerospace people talk about them well into the eighties. The right people, the right atmosphere, and the right frequency of happening led the army to change tactics and buy these cost-ineffective devices. But, over time, Army feedback led to positive images (MASH) and finely tuned (Huey) combat machines.

There are a few (expensive) books about the history of Bell Aircraft, floating around, perhaps a library might have them. Does Canada do interlibrary loan? Toronto, Hamilton, Niagara Falls and Fort Erie would be where to troll.

I went to college outside of Moose Jaw back in 2002-2004. My husband and I ventured up to Saskatoon one weekend and checked out this neat little bubble tea place downtown. Is it still there?! Any new bubble tea places popped up since then?

Abilility to send your events automatically to del.icio.us

Thank you for posting this! This is the sort of impact I hope Upcoming has on people’s lives.

As for your Twitter, yes, Upcoming could really use an update. I can’t disclose any details but we’re working on some major revamps. It takes a while to get all the pieces in place.
