Well after eight long days and nights at Royal University Hospital, they grew tired of me today and kicked me out.  I called Jordon to tell him the good news and he was already in the parking lot so I didn’t have to wait long.  The three of us  went down to see Oliver (where the nurses had a nice Father’s Day card made up for Jordon) and then headed back home.

I was feeling okay so I talked Jordon into a bit of shopping.  For Father’s Day we gave Jordon a pair of speakers for the cabin and a iTunes card for his iPod.  Mark made him a hilarious card and we are spending the rest of the day chilling out around the house with the dogs.

Speaking of the dogs, Maggi doesn’t handle us not being around at night.  She paces, looks for us, and investigates every sound.  As my absence went on, she became more and more depressed around the house.  Today she was thrilled to see me and I was pretty happy to see my puppy.  Right now she is sleeping at my feet and enjoying life.  Now that I think of it, that is what I am doing as well.
