Mark is "ticked"

Today the kid went on a field trip to see some natural grasslands.  He came home with a form from the school telling parents to check for ticks.  Of course he was covered in them and in a bit of pain from being bit.  Luckily the school sent home a form from the health region telling parents how to remove them which wasn’t a lot of fun but he is tick free.

At first he was quite impressed with nature and the grassland, now after having nature strike back, he is ready to pave the entire thing.  I assume this is what happened to Dick Cheney when he was kid.  One tick bite and he became a neo-conservative.

Update: I had ticks on me too.  I am not impressed at all.  Ticks is the last thing I need.
