Christmas at the Centre

Today Jordon talked me into coming into Salvation Army Community Centre and help out decorate the residential area with Christmas decorations.  There is a lounge for the guys and we put up a tree in the lounge, decorated the front lobby and put wreaths on the doors in the dorm area.

Apparently it was a quite day around there but the phones rang non-stop and I got to see Jordon take some flack at work (a major part of his new job).  I also got to see some of the people in Jordon’s department give him a hard time about things (he is their boss now).  His co-workers and people working for him seem to love working there which means it is a fun place to be when I am around, even for just a couple of minutes.

Speaking of Jordon and the Centre, the Star Phoenix chatted with him about homelessness in Saskatoon here.
