Quiet Weekend

A quiet weekend around here. Jordon had the day off today but got called into work while I had to work when he got off work. He was joking that he tried to convince himself that he was actually relaxing and was just taking his day off at work. I think his fantasy fell apart when he couldn’t convince anyone to bring him a drink with an umbrella in it.
I met him at work and gave him Mark while I headed to work.
I have to work Saturday but I get Sunday off and am taking Monday off to spend some time with Jordon and to work in the yard. Here is a photo of what we have been up to for the last several days. Hauling and piling a lot of maple logs in our backyard. The plan is to let them dry out this year and chop and split them next year. After that, the hope is that the ice cube in our pond will finally melt and we can get it setup again.
The other plan is to do some reading this weekend as Jordon and Mark gave me Anne Lamott’s new book called Grace (Eventually) tonight.
