Mixed blessings

Today we got up early to pick up some Christmas stuff today and run some errands. We headed to Jysk and then around town for some shopping. We finally ran into Dollarama where everything is $1 to get a couple of small things and some kitchen containers. As we left there, our van was dead. After getting a tow to the mechanic, we needed a new alternator which was a little costly and unwelcome. So much for saving money at Dollarama.
