- Today was a quiet day spent around the house. Jordon is feeling better and is in the middle of a couple of days off of work. He tried to stay up for 28 straight hours so he would be back on “days” but that didn’t quite work out. At about hour 22 he went downstairs into a dark corner of the basement I created so he could sleep during the day and fell asleep.
- The morning we spent sitting outside all day in front of the firepit tossing a stick to Maggi. We tossed it several times into a big pile of branches we haven’t cut up yet after the storm that took down our tree. I thought that Maggi was going to snap but each time she found her stick.
- Janet Jagan, Guyana’s president is retiring.
It looks like Jordon has a common form of skin cancer on his leg. Not too serious but it is still cancerous. He recently fired his family doctor so he is breaking in a new one. More doctors appointments and treatments ahead. I will say that finding a family doctor in Saskatoon is not an easy task.- We have our tickets for Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan’s (which has a new snazzy website) presentation of the Taming of the Shrew. For some reason, the Saskatchewan education system failed Jordon and he hasn’t read the play before. Just in case my hubby is reading my blog, here is a html version of the play. Of course I know Jordon enough to know that he will be perfectly happy reading the summary of the play and just enjoying the play for what it is. For those of you who have never been to see the Bard on the river, it is probably the best festival that Saskatoon hosts.
