Ugh…

I haven’t posted anything here in a while because life has been way too busy.  Both Jordon and I are working evenings and the little time we have together I like to spend with him.  We both ended up with a bit of a suprise day off which is nice but even that has filled up quickly.

Work is not going so well.  A lot of my friends took a buyout from work and are off starting their new jobs and I am happy for all of them.  Meanwhile work has hired a 150 new people to replace the 68 people who left in the city.  It makes my job harder as none of them really know what to do yet and some have a hard time taking direction from someone younger.  Jordon and Mark came by for dinner the other night and it was a disaster in there.  Jordon was tempted to stop the one girl to remind her not to avoid customers or run away from them when they are looking for help.  In the past, there would be one new person on the floor and 10 highly trained people.  On Saturday, there was 2 trained people and 8 newbies and the newbies teach each other bad habits and practices.  I am sure it will get better but for right now I am not enjoying work and miss my old co-workers.
